28 Suspects Paraded By Police High Command for Vicious Crimes

Twenty-eight suspected vicious cattle rustlers/armed robbers, kidnapped for ransom gang paraded by the Police High Command on Thursday June 15, 2017, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Parading the suspects, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood said following a tip off, the IGP Special Tactical Squad (STS), intercepted and arrested the suspects, who had conspired within themselves and forcefully broke into Rukayya Blocks Industry at Haudawa Danmaliki Kano.

He said the suspects killed the security guard on duty and made away with a tipper truck with Reg. No. KRV 858 XB.

The Force spokesperson gave the of the names suspects as, Abubakar Ibrahim, aged 21,   Basher Shuaibu, 23, Obinna Samson Ani, 37, Kenneth Edeh, 35, and Uchechukwu Anoada, 36.

He said exhibits recovered from them includes, one AK 47 rifle, two locally made Baretta pistols,  AK 47 live ammunition and cartridges.

Other suspects paraded were, Muhammed Adamu, Muhhamed Abubakar, Umar Ibrahim, Mohammed Umar, Umaru Yahaya, Ibrahim Umar, for allegedly involving in armed robbery and kidnappings in Lokoja, Kogi State.

The FPRO, said the suspects were arrested by Police operatives based on intelligence report received, adding that two AK 47 rifles and twenty seven rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the hoodlums.

In another development, one Ali Bello AKA Ali Zugange, was arrested on 20th May, 2017, following an intelligence report received by Commander IGP STS/TIU ACP Yusuf Kolo.

According to CSP Jimoh the suspect until his arrest was a member of seventeen armed robbery gang terrorizing Niger, Kaduna, Abuja and kogi States.

The following items were recovered from him one AK 47 rifle, one empty magazine, and 50 Cattle CSP Jimoh Moshood said all suspects have confessed to the crime and would soon be charge to court for prosecution.
