Controversial Nigerian social media personality and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son while in custody.
The development was made public on Friday by Amira Agiye, Chief Executive Officer of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed to Nigerians to support the embattled social media personality.
According to Agiye, Blessing CEO is currently unable to attend to the situation because of her continued detention and is seeking financial assistance to secure her release and settle outstanding obligations.
Speaking on her behalf, Agiye said the deceased child remained in the mortuary and urged members of the public to show compassion despite their personal opinions about Blessing CEO and the legal case involving her.
She said Blessing CEO requires N20 million to meet her bail conditions, while another N36 million is needed to settle debts owed to individuals connected to the case.
In a voice recording shared by Agiye, Blessing CEO also confirmed the death of her son, identified as Bryan.
“My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan. I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life and pay my respects to him,” she said.
The report of the child’s death emerged weeks after Blessing CEO was remanded in custody over a property fraud case involving N69.15 million.
She was granted bail of N20 million in July 2026, with two sureties required to provide security in the same amount. The bail conditions also reportedly required each surety to present evidence of deposits worth N20 million over a three-year period.
However, Blessing CEO has remained in custody after failing to fulfil the conditions attached to her bail.
Agiye appealed to Nigerians to assist the social media personality financially, saying the appeal was made with Blessing CEO’s consent and authorisation.
The development has since generated reactions online, with supporters and critics of the social media personality weighing in on the reported loss while she remains in detention.
