The Nigeria Police Force has transferred officers captured in a viral video allegedly assaulting passengers in Edo State to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, where they are currently facing disciplinary proceedings.
The Force disclosed the development in a statement shared on its official social media platforms, assuring the public that the officers involved would be held accountable in line with established disciplinary procedures.
“The officers seen in the viral video assaulting passengers in Edo State are now at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Abuja, where they are facing disciplinary actions,” the statement read.
