The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved the deployment of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.
The Force announced the development in a post on its official X handle on Friday, describing the postings as part of efforts to strengthen police communication, improve public access to accurate information and deepen engagement with the media and other stakeholders.
Under the new appointments, Superintendent of Police Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5. He can be contacted on 08038773657.
Similarly, SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been deployed to Zone 11, Osogbo, with 09152481510 provided as his contact number.
At the state command level, DSP Orchia Adndongu has been assigned to the Benue State Police Command and can be reached on 07013495466.
Meanwhile, DSP Imah Unwana Victor has been posted to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC). His official contact number is 08038281577.
The Force said the deployments are intended to enhance the timely and effective dissemination of police information, promote transparency and strengthen cooperation between the police, the media and members of the public across the affected commands and formations.
