The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has expressed condolences to the Nigerian Air Force over the crash of its NAF 931 aircraft, which claimed 25 lives.

Disu paid a condolence visit to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal S.K. Aneke, on Friday, October 9, 2026, to commiserate with the service over the tragic incident.

During the visit, the IGP conveyed the sympathy of the Nigeria Police Force to the leadership, officers and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, as well as the families of those who died in the crash.

He expressed solidarity with the Air Force during the difficult period and offered prayers for strength and comfort for the bereaved families, colleagues and associates of the deceased.

The Nigeria Police Force reaffirmed its support for the Nigerian Air Force, honouring the service and sacrifice of the personnel who lost their lives in the incident.
